Lincoln County officer charged with sexually assaulting teenager

A Lincoln County Sheriff's deputy is accused of sexual assault on a 15 year old girl at his home in Marathon County.

Zachary Dorr, age 34, has been working as a deputy for four years. He has resigned from his position.

News reports and court records indicate that he is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.

The alleged incident happened on May 9 after he and the teenager had gone to a previously arranged function and then to Dorr's home. Dorr was not on duty when the incident occurred.

He is being charged with second degree sexual assault of a child, child enticement sexual contact and exposing genitals/pubic area/intimidate parts to a child. View court record.

Coming from a person who has never been arrested. This is another case of an officer who thinks they are above the law. I read on the Wausau news that this officer brought the 15 yr old girl to a wedding reception of two fellow officers. He gave her alcohol and made out with her infont of coworkers and a district attorney. STUPID. Then, the coworkers looked the girl up on Facebook then learned of her age and questioned her. It's sad to see that someone of the law would commite this crime. We have too many of these officers around this area.
